Dawn Polymer Materials (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., established on September 9, 2002, is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of high-performance modified plastics. Founded by Hyundai EP Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Hyundai Industrial Development under Hyundai Group), the company has a registered capital of USD 11.5 million. It is located in the Guangdong Zhaoqing (Dawang) High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, covering an area of over 30,000 square meters with a factory building spanning more than 5,700 square meters. The annual production capacity ranges from 18,000 to 30,000 tons. Currently, the company employs over 80 staff members. Most of its products have obtained UL certification from the United States. In 2005, the company achieved ISO 9001 quality management system and ISO 14000 environmental management system certifications from SGS, and has also obtained TS 16949 automotive quality management system certification. The company operates on a five-day workweek, provides free accommodation and meals, and offers benefits such as housing provident fund, social insurance, anniversary celebration trips, holiday bonuses, and year-end awards. It is only an hour's drive from downtown Guangzhou, with shuttle services to and from Guangzhou for employees weekly.
